Abstract:
Disclosed is a polar code BP decoding unit based on the transmission of data of different types. The unit comprises: N I-type calculation units, N II-type calculation units, and a left output queue and a right output queue which are respectively connected to an input and an output of each calculation unit, and have a depth of 1, where N is a code length, and the output queues are respectively connected to the output of each calculation unit and the inputs of the other calculation units. According to the present invention, data is selected in the form of the coexistence of a complement type and an amplitude type, such that the operations for data type conversion are effectively saved on, the hardware overhead is reduced, and a clock frequency is improved.
