Abstract:
Provided are a polarizing plate and an optical display device comprising same, the polarizing plate comprising a polarizer and a first resin layer stacked on at least one surface of the polarizer, wherein: the first resin layer comprises one or more types of wires and fibers; at least some of the one or more types of the wires and the fibers is aligned to be oriented at an orientation angle (θ) with respect to the light absorption axis direction of the polarizer; and the orientation angle (θ) is 65° to 115° or 0° to 25° with respect to the light absorption axis direction of the polarizer.
