Abstract:
Provided are a polyacetal resin composition and molded article thereof which are unlikely to suffer from cracking even upon contacting a liquid containing hydrochloric acid and having stress applied thereto. The polyacetal resin composition contains, per 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal resin, 0.01-10 parts by mass of at least one type of fatty acid metal salt from among salts 1-3, and 0.1-5 parts by mass of a stress relaxer, the melting point of which when measured using a differential scanning calorimeter at a temperature increase rate of 10°C/minute and at a nitrogen flow rate of 20 cm3/minute is 67.5-200°C. 1) A metal salt of calcium and a C10-34 long chain fatty acid. 2) A metal salt of zinc and a C10-34 long chain fatty acid. 3) A metal salt of magnesium and a C10-34 long chain fatty acid.
