Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a polydimethylsiloxane gum mixture which has good production efficiency and low production cost, and which is capable of quantitatively containing a polydimethylsiloxane gum; and a polydimethylsiloxane gum-containing thermoplastic resin composition into which the polydimethylsiloxane gum mixture is added.
According to the present invention, a polydimethylsiloxane gum mixture (D) which is composed of from 40 parts by mass to 95 parts by mass of a graft copolymer (A) that is obtained by graft copolymerizing a monomer mixture (a) containing at least an aromatic vinyl monomer (a1), from 0 part by mass to 55 parts by mass of a vinyl copolymer (B) that is obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture (b) containing at least an aromatic vinyl monomer (b1), and from 5 parts by mass to 20 parts by mass of a polydimethylsiloxane gum (C) having a weight average molecular weight of 300,000 or more (provided that the total of the graft copolymer (A), the vinyl copolymer (B) and the polydimethylsiloxane gum (C) is 100 parts by mass) is prepared in the presence of a rubbery polymer (r); and a polydimethylsiloxane gum-containing thermoplastic resin composition, which contains from 15 ppm to 20,000 ppm of the polydimethylsiloxane gum (C), is produced using this polydimethylsiloxane gum mixture.
