Abstract:
Provided is a polyester binder fiber with which it is possible to manufacture a high-strength fiber structure. The polyester binder fiber may have a ΔH of 30 J/g or less, calculated according to the difference between a melting heat absorption amount ΔHm and a crystallization heat dissipation amount ΔHc on a heating process differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) curve obtained by DSC. Moreover, in regard to a crystal component ratio (a1), a restricted amorphous component ratio (a2), and an amorphous component ratio (a3), calculated based on a spin-spin mitigation time T2 at 140°C obtained by pulse nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurement, the polyester binder fiber may have a ratio (a1:(a2 + a3)) of the crystal component ratio (a1) to the total of the restricted amorphous component ratio (a2) and the amorphous component ratio (a3) within the range of 98.0:2.0 to 50.0:50.0.
