Abstract:
A polygonal submersible, comprising a central ballast tank (1), a manned cabin (3) which is provided around the periphery of a tank wall of the ballast tank (1) and the outer contour of which is a regular polygon, and an electric cabin (4) which is provided around the periphery of a cabin wall of the manned cabin (3) and the outer contour of which is a regular polygon, and propellers are evenly distributed on the periphery of the cabin wall of the manned cabin (3). The manned cabin (3) comprises a plurality of sections of manned cabin units (31) which are connected end to end, and the cross section of the middle part of each manned cabin unit (31) is a regular polygon. The electric cabin (4) comprises a plurality of sections of electric cabin (4) units which are connected end to end. The polygonal submersible is made up of the regular polygonal outer contour of the manned cabin (3), the regular polygonal outer contour of the electric cabin (4) and the regular polygonal cross sections of the manned cabin units (31). Compared with existing annular outer contour submersibles, the main size is reduced, water drainage is reduced, pressure resistance may be improved, and particularly, pressure resistance may be further improved by using regular octagons. In addition, fabrication precision is higher, difficulty is low, and costs are low.
