Title:
POLYISOPRENE PRODUCTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/208902
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a polyisoprene production method that makes it possible to efficiently obtain polyisoprene having a large number of vinyl bonds and a low degree of branching. The means for solving said problem is a polyisoprene production method characterized by including a step for polymerizing isoprene in the presence of a polymerization catalyst composition which contains a half-metallocene cation complex represented by general formula (I) (in the formula: M indicates a lanthanide element, scandium, or yttrium; CpR' indicates a substituted cyclopentadienyl, a substituted indenyl, or a substituted fluorenyl, each having at least one substituent containing Si; X indicates a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, a thiolate group, an amide group, a silyl group, or a C1–20 monovalent hydrocarbon group; L indicates a neutral Lewis base; w indicates an integer from 0 to 3; and [B]- indicates a non-coordinating anion).
