Abstract:
Provided is a polymer composite piezoelectric body and a piezoelectric film in which variations in the piezoelectric conversion efficiency are suppressed to provide stable piezoelectric conversion characteristics under various humid environments. This polymer composite piezoelectric body includes piezoelectric particles in a matrix that includes a polymer material. The pore volume per unit area of a sample of the polymer composite piezoelectric body is 0.01 μL/mm2 to 1.7 μL/mm2, the sample being obtained by cutting the polymer composite piezoelectric body in the direction of thickness, cutting out a 12.5 mm × 25 mm piece, subjecting this piece to mercury porosimetry to determine the intruded mercury volume, and dividing the intruded mercury volume by the cross-section area of the sample.
