Abstract:
Provided are: a polymer compound which provides a film having a high refractive index and high transparency and having good surface roughness after dry etching; a solid-state imaging element using the polymer compound; an optical device; a method for producing the polymer compound; and a method for producing the solid-state imaging element. The polymer compound is obtained by polycondensation of at least (A) a compound having two or more polycyclic aromatic groups having a hydroxy group or alkoxy group, and (B) a heterocyclic aromatic compound containing two or more structures represented by general formula (1). (In general formula (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an organic group having 1-6 carbon atoms.)
