Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a polymer flocculant mixing and dissolving system which can stably supply the amount of a solution required in a downstream process. [Solution] The system comprises: a mixing tank (2) for mixing a solid polymer flocculant with water as a solvent; a solution-feeding means (3) for feeding the aqueous solution containing the polymer flocculant from the mixing tank; vortex mixers (4A, 4B) which pressurize the aqueous solution containing the polymer flocculant sent from the solution-feeding means while forming a vortex flow, and mix and dissolve said polymer flocculant; a process flow passage (61) which sends, to the downstream process, the aqueous solution that has passed through the vortex mixers; a circulation flow passage (62) which returns the aqueous solution to a position upstream of the solution-feeding means; and a flow rate adjusting means (6) which adjusts the flow rate of the aqueous solution between the process flow passage and the circulation flow passage.
