Abstract:
Provided are: a polymer material that, while comprising two or more species of polymers, is resistant to the separation of the polymers and has excellent mechanical properties; a method for producing the polymer material; and a polymer compatibilizing agent. The polymer material according to the present invention comprises a first polymer compound having a cyclic host group and a second polymer compound that does not have the host group, wherein the second polymer compound traverses through the interior of the host group ring in a skewer configuration. The method according to the present invention for producing the polymer material comprises a step for polymerizing a polymerizable monomer in the presence of the first polymer compound. The polymer compatibilizing agent according to the present invention comprises a polymer compound that has a cyclic host group.
