Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polymer-sulfur copolymer, a method for preparing the same, and a lithium-sulfur battery comprising the same. As a result of a carrier being polymerized in the polymer-sulfur copolymer according to the present invention there is no concern about the elution of the carrier, and because sulfur is covalently bonded to a polymer and uniformly distributed within the copolymer, the polysulfide elution problem when the polymer-sulfur copolymer is used as a cathode active material of a lithium-sulfur battery can be improved upon. Also, it is possible to realize a high capacity battery as the polymer-sulfur copolymer has a high amount of sulfur impregnation.
