Abstract:
Provided is a polymerizable composition for forming a polymerized product layer that is to be interposed between an image display part and a light-transmitting protective part of an image display device, said polymerizable composition being used for the production of a polymerized product that is small in volume shrinkage during polymerization and is less susceptible to coloring by heat, while having high dielectric constant and high adhesion to a material such as glass that is used for the light-transmitting protective part. A polymerizable composition of the present invention contains (component 1) a (meth)acryloyl group-containing polymer compound having a number average molecular weight within the range of 1,000-10,000 and (component 2) a photopolymerization initiator. The dielectric constant of a polymerized product that is obtained by polymerizing the composition is 5.0 or more as measured at 23°C at a frequency of 1 MHz under a voltage application of 100 mV.
