Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide: polyphenylene ether melt-spun fibers that can be melt-spun even when the fibers have a high polyphenylene ether content, and that have superior properties in terms of mechanical strength and the like; a method for manufacturing the same; a paper; and a textile. The present invention pertains to polyphenylene ether melt-spun fibers characterized by having a polyphenylene ether component content of 95 mass% or more in terms of the total components forming the fibers, and a glass transition temperature of 180°C to 205°C, inclusive.
