Abstract:
The present invention relates to polypropylene resin foam particles, the base resin of which has polypropylene resin as the main component, wherein the polypropylene resin foam particles are characterized in that: the polypropylene resin foam particles have only one melting peak in the temperature range of 130-170°C inclusive in the first temperature rise in differential scanning calorimetry and the melting energy in the temperature range 130-170°C inclusive is 90% or more of the total melting energy; the melting point Tm represented by the value of the melting peak obtained by the second temperature rise in differential scanning calorimetry is 159-170°C inclusive; the fusion fracture rate at a temperature of 200°C is 5-45 m/min; and the open cell ratio is 15% or lower. Provided thereby are polypropylene resin foam particles with which it is possible to obtain a polypropylene resin foam molded article having high heat resistance as well as good moldability, a method for producing the same, and a polypropylene resin molded article.
