Abstract:
A polyurethane (meth)acrylate resin composition curable with actinic energy rays which comprises: a polyurethane (meth)acrylate resin prepared from one or more polyols comprising at least 40 wt.% lactone copolymer polyol which has a number-average molecular weight of 300-5,000, is liquid at ordinary temperature, and is obtained by copolymerizing &epsiv -caprolactone with &dgr -valerolactone by ring-opening copolymerization with the aid of a low-molecular compound having at least two active-hydrogen groups as an initiator, the &epsiv -caprolactone/&dgr -valerolactone ratio being from 80/20 to 20/80 in terms of mol% ratio (the sum of both is 100 mol%), a polyisocyanate, and a hydroxylated (meth)acrylate; and an initiator for polymerization with actinic energy rays. The composition is excellent in coating film properties and handleability and gives a cured article excellent in heat resistance and solvent resistance.
