Abstract:
The present invention provides, inexpensively, a porous film that has superior thermal dimensional stability, adhesiveness to electrodes, and battery properties. This porous film has a porous substrate and a porous layer that contains particles A on at least one surface of the porous substrate. The particles A have a mixture containing a polymer formed from fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate monomers and a polymer formed from (meth)acrylate monomers having hydroxyl groups, or have a copolymer containing fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate monomers and (meth)acrylate monomers having hydroxyl groups. The (meth)acrylate monomers having hydroxyl groups are contained in the particles A in an amount ranging from greater than 2 wt% to not more than 30 wt%, where all constituent components of the particles A are assumed to constitute 100 wt%.
