Abstract:
Provided is a purging agent capable of efficiently discharging a resin to be purged from inside a molding machine. Porous particles containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and an alkali metal (B), the particles having a pore median diameter of 0.01 to 3µm, an average particle size of 2.5 to 8 mm, and an alkali metal (B) content of 1,000 to 100,000 ppm.
