Abstract:
This portable terminal position determination device has: at least two communication units (11, 21, 22, 23) that are disposed at different positions (D, P, RL, RR) so as to communicate with a portable terminal (5); a communication intensity measurement means (53) for measuring the communication intensity of communication performed between the portable terminal and each of the communication units; and a position determination means (51) for determining the position of the portable terminal by comparing the ratio of two communication intensities measured by the communication intensity measurement means with a corresponding threshold value.
