Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power conditioning system and method for energy storage. The power conditioning system and method for energy storage, if there is a large load in a small scale system using an energy storage system (ESS), enables a constant system voltage to be maintained while reducing the variation width of voltage, in order to prevent the voltage and frequency of the system from continuously resonating by a mutual interference between the large load and an ESS-power conditioning system (PCS). The power conditioning system for energy storage according to the present invention comprises: a voltage compensator for compensating for a voltage to be outputted as a constant voltage having a constant frequency for a voltage power supply; a pulse width modulation unit for pulse width modulating the voltage-compensated power supply using a spatial vector and outputting the pulse width-modulated power supply; and a converter for converting the pulse width-modulated alternating current power supply to a direct current power supply.
