Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power converter for an electric vehicle. The purpose of the present invention is to control power conversion by linking the output of an interleaved buck and boost, thereby simultaneously resolving the reduction in efficiency at low capacity and the power conversion capacity burden at high capacity. To this end, the present invention comprises: a converting unit in which a plurality of unit interleaved boost converters are connected in parallel; and a power conversion control unit for controlling converting operations in a boost mode and a buck mode in response to the output of the converting unit, wherein the power conversion control unit controls the converting operations by controlling a multi-channel multiple soft start operation and linking the output of the interleaved buck and boost by using a proportional integral (PI) control parameter.
