Title:
POWER CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/092683
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to make it possible to perform a PWM operation at a carrier frequency that more accurately minimizes loss. The carrier frequency (FC) of a PWM signal (PLS) is varied between a carrier frequency upper limit (LimH) and a carrier frequency lower limit (LimL) by a voltage value (VDC) of DC power and a current value (IAC) of AC power. The carrier frequency (FC) is controlled so that: when the carrier frequency (FC) and the voltage value (VDC) of the DC power are taken along the Y-axis and X-axis, respectively, to represent the relationship therebetween on an X-Y graph, an upward convex graph is formed; and when the carrier frequency (FC) and the current value (IAC) of the AC power are taken along the Y-axis and X-axis, respectively, to represent the relationship therebetween on an X-Y graph, a downward convex graph is formed.
