Abstract:
Provided are a power generation element for vibration power generation, which increases electromotive force and can be mass-produced at low cost, and an actuator. The power generation element 1 has a main series magnetic circuit 100 and an auxiliary series magnetic circuit 200. The main series magnetic circuit is constituted by: a frame yoke 110 made of a magnetic material and having one end portion served as a fixed end 113 and the other end portion served as a free end 111 with a U-shaped bent portion 112 in between; a main magnet 120 for providing a magnetic bias to the frame yoke; and a first gap 130 formed at a position touching the free end. The auxiliary series magnetic circuit is constituted by: an auxiliary yoke 210 made of a magnetic material and attached to the frame yoke; an auxiliary magnet 220 for providing a magnetic bias to the auxiliary yoke; a second gap 230 formed at a position facing the first gap with the free end in between; the frame yoke; the main magnet; and the first gap. By using the fact that the free end vibrates by the addition of an external force and the magnetic resistances of the first and second gaps increase and decrease oppositely, the amount of change in a main magnetic flux 150 passing through the inside of a coil 140 wound around the frame yoke is increased.
