Abstract:
Disclosed is a power supply circuit using a piezoelectric transformer, comprising: a piezoelectric transformer (110) which is circuit-connected to a main power input terminal (10) to receive main power in an alternating current form, and which outputs low-voltage power stepped down due to stress generated in a ceramic material around an electrode by generating a relatively low level of vibration according to the high voltage and non-resonant frequency of the main power; a rectifier circuit unit (120) which is circuit-connected to an output side of the piezoelectric transformer (110) to transform inputted low-voltage power into a direct current form; and a smoothing circuit unit (130) which is circuit-connected to an output terminal of the rectifier circuit unit (120) to transform the transformed direct current power so as to maintain a constant voltage level and output the transformed power to a load (20) which is circuit-connected to the rear end thereof.
