This power transmission device comprises: a pole piece (25) that has a plurality of magnetic bodies and rotates by modulating a magnetic flux between a drive-side magnet (20) and a fixed magnet (40); and a sealing member (51) that divides the interior of a casing (15, 50) into a drive-side space (113a) on the side where the drive-side magnet (20) is disposed and a driven-side space (113b) on the side where the fixed magnet (40) and the pole piece (25) are disposed, and seals a fluid between the drive-side space (113a) and the driven-side space (113b). The pole piece (25) and the fixed magnet (40) are cylindrical and disposed coaxially with and radially outside the drive-side magnet (20), and the sealing member (51) has a sealing cylinder part (51b) positioned radially outside the drive-side magnet (20) and a sealing bottom surface part (51c) that closes the sealing cylinder part 51b from the drive-side space (113a) side.
