Abstract:
The present invention provides a power transmission unit that enables structural simplification while transmitting power in a non-contact manner in a curved portion of a traveling path. The power transmission unit is provided with: a coil holding part having a parallel surface parallel to a moving plane and curved in a direction in which a moving body moves in a curved shape; and a power transmission coil disposed on the parallel surface and facing a power receiving coil and transmitting power toward the power receiving coil. The parallel surface is disposed facing the moving body in a direction perpendicular to the parallel surface. The power transmission coil is folded after being extended in a curving direction in which the coil holding part is curved, and wound in a direction parallel to the parallel surface.
