Abstract:
Disclosed are: a power transmitting device that can be used to freely control specific objects inside a rotating body, which rotates at high speed, by directly transmitting an external force into the rotating body while the rotation remains unaffected; and a pipe cutting device and a hydraulic chucking device using the power transmitting device. The power transmitting device according to the present invention comprises: at least one linked-movement cylinder which is fitted in such a way that a rod projects to the side of a main body, on the back surface of the rotating body; a push part which is provided towards the main body so as to have at least one pusher projecting towards the rotating body; and a bearing which is coupled so as to perform an axially rotating action and perform an action whereby an axially-oriented load is transmitted, between the pusher and the rod. Such a power transmitting device can be used as a pipe cutting device by fitting a cutting tool that performs a reciprocating movement due to a hydraulic cylinder at the front of the rotating body, and by constructing the hydraulic cylinder and the linked-movement cylinder as a hydraulic closed circuit. Additionally, the invention can also be used as a hydraulic chucking device by constituting a plurality of the hydraulic cylinders of the rotating body, and by fitting jaws to each hydraulic cylinder.
