Abstract:
In this invention, prediction accuracy for a process including reactions in a chemical plant is improved. This prediction device comprises a process data processing unit for carrying out certain processing of process data acquired from a chemical plant and a prediction model generation unit for generating a prediction model having learned features of the process data acquired from the chemical plant on the basis of causal relationship information defining combinations of first process data as an explanatory variable, and second process data as a response variable or a value corresponding to the second process data from among the process data acquired from the chemical plant or the process data processed by the process data processing unit. Further, the process data processing unit determines a value corresponding to a reaction rate of a processing object in a predetermined period using the process data.
