Abstract:
The present invention relates to a prediction system for a time of occurrence of a vent in a battery cell in which a terrace unit including a sealing unit is formed on at least one side of a pouch-type battery case, and an electrode lead is drawn out from the end of the terrace unit, the prediction system comprising: a storage unit which collects data about a time of occurrence of a vent according to the width of a remaining sealing unit; a measurement unit which periodically measures the width of the remaining sealing unit of a battery cell to be measured; and a determination unit which predicts a time of occurrence of a vent in the battery cell being measured by comparing the measured width of the remaining sealing unit with the collected data.
