Disclosed are a prefabricated data transmission method and apparatus, and an electronic device. The method comprises the following steps: step 1), select prefabricated data; step 2), a calling party sends the selected prefabricated data to a called party; step 3), the called party displays the selected prefabricated data and at the same time, blocks a call reminder; and step 4), during or after the display of the prefabricated data, the calling party sends a calling request to the called party according to a user demand. The present invention provides a method for forcibly changing a color ring back tone and a ringtone set by the called party before the starting of a call between smart phones, and allowing a party to download and display a video, an audio, a photo or a text preset by the other party, so that both calling and called devices can download and watch the relevant audio, video or graphic information configured by the other party before the starting of the call, without the need of support of VoLTE networks and VoLTE terminals of telecom operators.
