Abstract:
Provided is a preform that easily ensures an air passage from an air introduction hole to a drum part, a synthetic resin container, and a method for manufacturing a synthetic resin container. A preform (11) according to the present disclosure is provided with: a cylindrical mouth part (14); a drum part (15) that is positioned beneath the mouth part (14); and a bottom part (16) that closes a lower end of the drum part (15), the preform (11) characterized in that an internal body (13) of the mouth part (14) has a large-diameter part (14f) that is provided at an upper end and a small-diameter part (14h) that is continuous with a lower part of the large-diameter part (14f) via a connection part (14g), an external body (12) of the mouth part (14) has an air introduction hole (14b) that penetrates the external body (12) and a neck ring (18) that is positioned within a height range of the small-diameter part (14h), the internal body (13) is made of a crystalline resin and partially has a crystallization area (19) having a crystallization degree greater than those of other areas, an upper end of the crystallization area (19) is positioned within a height range between an upper end of the connection part (14g) and an upper end of the neck ring (18), a lower end of the crystallization area (19) is positioned beneath the neck ring (18).
