Abstract:
The present invention relates to a preparation method of 1,4-disubstituted cyclohexane derivatives, and more specifically, to a preparation of 4-(hydroxymethyl)cyclohexanecarboxylic acid useful as a main raw material in fine chemistry such as medicine, a special polymer and the like from by-products generated in the preparation of 1,4-di(hydroxymethyl)cyclohexane through hydrolysis and extraction and purification processes by steps. The present invention relates to a preparation method of 4-(hydroxymethyl)cyclohexanecarboxylic acid characterized by comprising the process being capable of separating and recovering 1,4-di(hydroxymethyl)cyclohexane bimolecular dehydration polymerization ether and 1,4-di(hydroxymethyl)cyclohexane as by-products in a preparation and separation process thereof.
