Abstract:
Provided are a preparation method for algae powder and the use of the algae powder in the improvement of desert soil. The method comprises: (1) selecting high-bicarbonate wastewater and diluting the wastewater so that the bicarbonate content thereof is 400-500 mg/L and the NH4-N content is less than 100 mg/L; adding K2SO4 to make the content of K in the bicarbonate wastewater reach 15-50 mg/L; adjusting the pH to 7.5-8.0; transferring the wastewater into a transparent container, and then inoculating Rhizoclonium into the transparent container at 0.5-1.0 gFW/L; and culturing the algae under the conditions of the illumination intensity being 150-300 μmol m-2s-1, the temperature being 15°C-35°C, and the relative humidity being 36.7%-90%; (2) harvesting the algae when the algae grow to the logarithmic phase and the pectin content is higher than 8%; and (3) air-drying the harvested algae, and crushing and sieving same to prepare algae powder. The algae powder prepared by means of the preparation method is applied to the improvement of desert soil. By means of the method, the particle composition of desert soil can be significantly improved, the percentage of particles with a small particle size (≤0.1 mm) is reduced, the percentage of particles with a size of 0.1-0.25 mm is significantly increased, and the content of organic carbon and nitrogen in soil is also improved. In particular, the algae powder has no side effects on the soil.
