Abstract:
This press brake is provided with: a die (11) and a punch (12) which face one another; and a punch driving mechanism (15) which moves at least one of the die (11) and the punch (12) relative to one another, with a workpiece (40) disposed between the die (11) and the punch (12), such that the die (11) and the punch (12) approach one another. The punch (12) is formed by arranging a plurality of punch elements (20), which face the die (11), in one row. Each punch element (20) is provided with a position adjustment mechanism (21) for adjusting an advancement position of the punch element (20) toward the die (11) side. When the workpiece (40) is to be bent, the advancement position of each punch element (20) is gradually changed from one end portion of the plurality of punch elements (20) arranged in one row toward the other end thereof, such that the shape formed by the distal ends of the plurality of punch elements (20) is a parabola.
