Abstract:
The present invention provides: an on-press development-type printing plate precursor having at least one constituent layer on an aluminum support having an anodized film, wherein an end portion of the on-press development-type printing plate precursor has a sagging shape, the at least one constituent layer contains a hydroxy acid compound having at least two hydroxyl groups, and the content of a water-soluble compound having a molecular weight of 60-300 and a solubility in water at 20°C of at least 10 g/L is substantially uniform in the plane of the constituent layer; a method for producing a printing plate using an on-press development-type printing plate precursor; and a printing method using an on-press development-type printing plate precursor.
