Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a press-fit terminal adaptable to a through-hole of a first diameter, and a through-hole of a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. This press-fit terminal comprises a tip part and a press-fit part continuing from the tip part. The press-fit part includes two contact pieces facing each other across an eye hole, and both outer edges of the press-fit part include two parallel edges arranged in a parallel orientation, and two inclined edges that incline outwardly from the tip part toward the parallel edges. The inclined edges include a first inclined portion and a second inclined portion positioned closer to the parallel edge side than the first inclined portion. The second inclined portion inclines more than the first inclined portion with respect to the parallel edges.
