Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing a fiber-reinforced resin molding by cold press-molding a fiber-reinforced resin material made of a thermoplastic resin and reinforcing fibers, wherein the fiber-reinforced resin molding has excellent moldability such that thin-walled moldings are obtained, the numerical value of bending strength divided by grammage (weight reduction index) is large, and external appearance is excellent. Said problem can be solved by a method for producing a fiber-reinforced resin molding by cold press-molding a fiber-reinforced resin material comprising reinforcing fibers and a thermoplastic resin using a mold with an upper mold and a lower mold. The fiber-reinforced resin molding production method is characterized in that the respective parameters for heating temperature, charge time, air-cooling rate, pressurization time, flow-stopping temperature, cooling rate during pressing, and time during which molding is possible simultaneously satisfy specified numerical ranges.
