Abstract:
The present invention provides a pressure pad which is easily produced and is capable of simplifying the production process of a honeycomb core sandwich structure. A pressure pad 10 according to the present invention has a shape that corresponds to a product 2, and comprises a top surface part 11, a lateral surface part 12 and a peripheral part 13. The pressure pad 10 is provided with a pressure pad main body 16, a mold release film 17 and inner shells 18, 19. The pressure pad main body 16 is composed of a non-silicon synthetic rubber. A first inner shell 18 is inserted into a position that extends across the lower part of the lateral surface part 12 and the peripheral part 13, and is formed of a fiber-reinforced plastic that contains a thermoplastic resin; and the thermoplastic resin is softened at a relatively low temperature. A second inner shell 19 is inserted into a position that corresponds to the top surface part, and is formed of a fiber-reinforced plastic that contains a thermoplastic resin; and the thermoplastic resin is softened at a relatively high temperature.
