Abstract:
A printing device 10 is characterized by comprising a feed roller 11 on which a continuous form 12 is wound, a common impression cylinder 16 on which the continuous form 12 fed out from the feed roller 11 is guided, a plurality of printing units 21 arranged around the common impression cylinder 16, and drying units 31 provided between each color on the downstream side of the printing units 21, the printing device 10 comprising a configuration in which printing and drying are repeated as the continuous form 12 travels around the common impression cylinder 16 from the inlet side of the common impression cylinder 16, and in which the printed continuous form 12 is taken out from the outlet side of the common impression cylinder 16, a rotation shaft 19 of the common impression cylinder 16 being rotatably supported by a pedestal 16 via a bearing 20, the common impression cylinder 16 being a heavy object configured from a thick metal cylinder 53 having a closed cylinder shape such that the diameter is 40 cm φ or more and the cylinder wall has a thickness of 2-10 cm, and the common impression cylinder 16 being filled with a fluid at a temperature of 18-30°C in an interior cavity thereof and being such that the fluid is circulated and the temperature thereof is adjusted.
