Abstract:
This printing device has: a printing head for performing printing on a printing region on a first nail of a finger and then performing printing on a printing region on a second nail of a finger; a movement mechanism for moving the printing head; and a printing control unit for controlling the printing head and the movement mechanism so as to perform printing while moving, in a main scanning direction, from a position where printing starts on the printing region on the first nail, and, after printing is completed on the first nail, for causing printing on the printing region on the second nail to be started from a printing start position set at the end section that, from among the fingernail tip-side end section and the root-side end section of the printing region of the second nail, is on the side closer to the printing end position of the printing region on the first nail.
