Abstract:
Provided is a printing device with which the possibility of a lamp coming into contact with a print medium can be reduced even if the lamp falls. The printing device comprises a conveying mechanism, a printing unit, a lamp 32 for heating, a holding member 33, and a receiving member 34. The conveying mechanism conveys the print medium along a prescribed conveying direction. The printing unit performs a printing process on the print medium. The lamp 32 is provided downstream in the conveying direction from the printing unit, and vertically above the print medium. The holding member 33 is provided vertically above the lamp 32, and holds the lamp 32 so that the lamp can be removed and inserted along a vertical direction. The receiving member 34 is provided vertically below the lamp 32 and vertically above the print medium, in a position of facing the lamp 32 in the vertical direction.
