Abstract:
In this printing device, printing in an inappropriate manner is prevented. A printing system 1 is provided with a multifunction machine 200 having a printing unit 290 for forming an image on paper and a processor 210, and a contract server 100 that executes a process regarding a contract. The multifunction machine 200 receives a job of receiving a printing job from an information terminal 300, confirms whether or not there is a contract ID that is an execution authority of the printing job, makes a query to the contract server 100 for determining validity of the confirmed contract ID. The contract server 100 responds to the multifunction machine 200 about the response to the query. On a condition that the contract ID of the printing job is determined to be valid on the basis of the response from the contract server 100, the multifunction machine 200 causes the printing unit 290 to form, on paper, an image corresponding to printing data included in the printing job.
