Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of textiles, and in particular to a process for preparing blended polymer fibers, wherein the polymer fibers are prepared by coating the surface of natural fibers with a silicone resin coating so that the natural fibers can withstand a high melt spinning temperature, and then melt-spinning the natural fibers, which have been coated with the silicone resin coating, and chemical fibers in a high-temperature molten state. By coating the surface of the natural fibers with the silicone resin coating, the present invention overcomes the defect of it being difficult for natural fibers to withstand a high-temperature melt-spinning process in the prior art. Compared with traditional natural fiber blending processes, the spinning efficiency and the yarn strength are greatly improved. Furthermore, the prepared polymer fibers have the excellent tactility of the natural fibers and also have the advantages of the chemical fibers: sweat absorption, being quick to dry and being lightweight.
