Abstract:
A process for producing easily and at a low cost vinyl perfluoroalkanesulfonate derivatives of the general formula (IV) useful as intermediates in the synthesis of drugs, natural products, and so on, characterized by reacting a carbonyl compound of the general formula (I) with a perfluoro- alkanesulfonic anhydride of the general formula (II) in the presence of 0.1 to 1.0 equivalent of a pyridine derivative of the general formula (III) based on the perfluoroalkanesulfonic anhydride. (A) (In the scheme, R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are each independently hydrogen, optionally substituted lower alkyl, optionally substituted lower alkoxy, or the like; R17 is trifluoromethyl or the like; and R18, R19, R20, R21, and R22 are each independently hydrogen, optionally substituted lower alkyl, or the like.)
