Abstract:
A process for recycling and recovering offcut of a carpet and an automobile interior material, and a hydrophobic permeable brick. The process comprises the following steps: 1) breaking up offcut; 2) performing a heating operation until the offcut partially melts and forms a plastomer, and converting the same into solid particles; 3) thoroughly mixing the solid particles with an adhesive to form a coagulated mixture; and 4) pouring the coagulated mixture into a mold, and after the adhesive has been cured, removing the mold to obtain a finished product. The process requires less investment, is highly efficient, and has a wide range of applications. The hydrophobic permeable brick has high permeability, is elastic, non-slip, environmental friendly and odorless, and can be used as a pavement material for an outdoor footpath.
