Abstract:
Provided is a processing device with which it is possible to manufacture a metal member having exceptional corrosion resistance at a cut end surface thereof. A processing device (20) comprises a punch (21) and a die (22) that are positioned on one sheet-thickness-direction side and the other sheet-thickness-direction side, respectively, of a metal sheet (10) that is a workpiece. The punch (21) and the die (22) each have an end surface (211, 221) and a side surface (212, 222). The punch (21) and the die (22) are positioned such that the end surface (211) of the punch (21) and the end surface (221) of the die (22) do not overlap in plan view. At least one of the side surface (212) of the punch (21) and the side surface (222) of the die (22) includes an inclined section (212a) of which the surface is inclined so as to face toward the metal sheet (10) and which is formed so as not to overlap the other of the punch (21) and the die (22) in plan view, the angle θ formed by the sheet thickness direction and the surface of the inclined section (212a) being 15° or greater.
