Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of medicine, and specifically relates to a prodrug of mycophenolic acid and a method for preparation thereof. The structural formula thereof is as shown in formula I; in comparison with mycophenolic acid, the compound represented by formula I has better aqueous permeability and aqueous solution stability, and better aqueous solubility, and can be hydrolyzed into mycophenolate mofetil in aqueous humor, such that the drug concentration of mycophenolic acid in aqueous humor is significantly improved in comparison with mycophenolate sodium, observed in experiments at 2 times the level of mycophenolate sodium or higher, and is more suitable for preparing ocular fluid formulations.
