Abstract:
The present disclosure addresses the problem of providing a new method by which an acrylic acid derivative can be produced at high conversion ratio and/or high yield. This problem can be solved by a production method of an acrylic acid derivative represented by formula (1) [wherein: R1 represents a hydrogen atom, etc.; R3 represents a hydrogen atom, etc.; and X represents a hydrogen atom, etc.], said production method comprising step B for bringing an organic metal compound represented by formula (A3A) [wherein: R2 is the same or different in each occurrence and represents a hydrogen atom, etc.; R3 represents a hydrogen atom, etc.; X represents a hydrogen atom, etc.; and M represents a hydrogen atom, etc.] or an organic metal compound represented by formula (A3B) [wherein each symbol has the same meaning as defined above] or a combination thereof into contact with a proton donor and an aldehyde compound to give the compound represented by the aforesaid formula (1).
