Abstract:
A production method of multiple regenerated hair follicle primordia, said method comprising a step for inoculating a microwell plate, which is provided with regularly-arranged minute depressions, simultaneously with mesenchymal cells and epithelial cells, and then co-culturing the mesenchymal cells and the epithelial cells with the use of a fibroblast growth factor-containing medium while supplying oxygen at least from the upper surface and bottom surface of the microwell plate to these cells so as to form hair follicle primordia within the minute depressions. The microwell plate is formed of an oxygen permeable material. A hair regeneration kit which comprises a microwell plate provided with regularly-arranged minute depressions and a fibroblast growth factor, wherein the microwell plate is formed of an oxygen permeable material.
