Abstract:
A program creation assistance device (1) for assisting in creating a sequence program executed by a programmable logic controller having a refresh function, said program creation assistance device (1) including a control unit, which is provided with a first memory and controls a programmable logic controller, and also including a network unit, which is provided with a second memory, acquires data from a controlled device, and stores the data in the second memory, wherein said program creation assistance device (1) is provided with: a program extraction unit (21) which extracts a description indicating access to the second memory, from an original sequence program that is to be converted into a format that can be understood by a programmable logic controller; a storage unit (10) which stores memory allocation setting information (111) indicating a correspondence between a specific region of the first memory and a specific region of the second memory; and a program replacement unit (23) which, on the basis of the memory allocation setting information, replaces the description that is included in the original sequence program and that indicates access to the second memory with a description indicating access to the first memory.
